Add a video to a property page

Paste a YouTube link, or upload an MP4 on the Pages plan, and the video plays at the top of the page.

About 3 min Property › Photos & video7 steps
  1. Put the video on YouTube first

Upload the walkthrough to your own YouTube channel. Public and Unlisted both work — unlisted keeps it off your channel page while still playing on your property page. Private does not work: nobody but you can watch it, so buyers see an error.

  2. Copy the link

On YouTube press Share and copy the link. A full watch address, a short youtu.be link and a Shorts link all work — a vertical reel is fine.

  3. Open the property

In the dashboard open Properties and press the property. On a new one, press Add property and work down to step 2 Photos & video.

  4. Paste it into Video

In Photos & video, paste the link into Video · optional. A YouTube link works on every plan, including Free.

  5. Or upload an MP4 instead

On the Pages plan you can drop an MP4 straight onto the box under the field. The limit is 20 MB — above that, put it on YouTube and paste the link.

  6. Publish or save

Press Publish page on a new property, or Save changes on one that is already live. The link to your page does not change.

  7. Check it on your phone

Open your property page and watch the video play at the top, above the photos. Most buyers open these pages on a phone, so check it there.

Good to know
  • A video or a brochure is worth 8 points on the completeness score shown in the editor, so adding one is the single quickest way to push a page toward complete.
  • Nothing loads from YouTube until the buyer presses play, so a video does not slow your page down.
  • To take a video off, clear the Video field and save. An uploaded MP4 has its own remove link next to the field.
  • Keep it short. Thirty to ninety seconds of walking through the rooms does more than a three-minute tour nobody finishes.
  • Film in landscape for a house tour and vertical for a quick reel — both play, so use whichever you already have.
